Afton with Family
For the latter half of December, we were able to spend time with family on both sides. Although she was sometimes overwhelmed by all the new people, she had fun playing with cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles. We didn't get pictures of her with everyone, but here are some of the ones we did get:
A favorite moment for everyone was when the Broughs went Christmas caroling in a limo! Afton loved seeing the lights on the ceiling.
Although she grew to like everyone, there seemed to be two people who she took a special liking to. Grandpa Brough (“Papa”) was the only one who’s name she learned (she says “Baba”), and great Grandaddy Rowley was definitely her favorite person, and often the only one besides Mom or Dad who could calm her:
