This one was taken the day before. We were with some friends and didn't have a bib, so they kindly let us use a bandana, making Afton the world's cutest outlaw:
Here's her Halloween costume, a plump juicy strawberry. Mom dressed up as whipped cream and Dad as shortcake, but we forgot to get a family photo.

You wouldn't believe that this happy face is from the day she got five shots, would you? Look at her legs and you can see some bandaids. Poor girl took it like a champ.

This one's staged. Afton doesn't usually sit peacefully pondering pathology while I study. If I hold her while I'm reading she'd prefer inflicting trauma on the book over reading it. But the way she looks like she's concentrating hard is too cute not to share.
